The farm reopened to the public in April 2008 and now provides facilities for members of the local community who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge in animal care and welfare.

It contains Kune Kune pigs, chinchillas, goats, parakeets, rabbits, snakes, small lizards, amphibians, alpacas, degus, shetland ponies.

Kentish City Farm has been established for over 40 years and holds a wide number of events throughout the year, check-in to their web site for details.  The farm offers pony rides on most weekends, a small cost is involved.

Newham City Farm is one of London's largest and longest established city farms. The farm opened in 1977 and is home to a large collection of farmyard favourites such as cows, horses and sheep - alongside some less familiar animals such as alpacas, birds of prey and turkeys.

There are also many smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.

Brooks Farm is FREE to enter for those visitors who simply want to walk around and enjoy the experience of visiting a farm. There are signs with useful facts and figures about the animals.

Freightliners is a small farm in an urban setting providing the opportunity for local individuals and groups to learn from and interact with the environment and each other through animal care, horticulture and sustainable practices.
